Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Printer Operator to join the Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday, 5am-5 : 30pm) in our Portland, ME facility. This fast-paced role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys the satisfaction of producing high-quality printed materials.

Operate Canon laser, Riso inkjet, and Canon mono printing equipment (experience preferred)
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Set up and operate printing machines efficiently.
Monitor printing jobs for quality and accuracy.
Perform necessary adjustments to ensure consistent output.
Clean and maintain printing equipment.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve work performance and learn new skills.

Description

Operate Laminating machine, Standard Die Cutter, and Cutter.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Set up and operate printing machines efficiently.

Clean and maintain printing equipment.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Requirements

Experience operating printing equipment (color and mono preferred)

Knowledge in Bindery, Die cutting, and Lamination.

Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient in basic computer and technology use

Ability to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of basic math, fractions, and percentages

Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and visual)

Self-directed and motivated with a desire to learn and grow

Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate with others.

Physical Requirements

Able to frequently lift 10-20 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Able to stand for extended periods (10-12 hours)

Able to bend, push, and pull carts.
