• Position : Collaborative Nurse (GYNE)\n
• Location : Kellogg Cancer Center – Evanston\n
• Full Time | 40 hours / week\n
• Hours : Monday - Friday : 8am - 6pm, no weekends or holidays\n
• Required Travel : Floating required between 3 Kellogg Cancer Centers - Glenview, Highland Park, and Evanston and Southwest Cancer Center\n\nWhat You Will Do\n
• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients\n
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care\n
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition periodically\n
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care\n
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care\n
• Collaborate with assigned physician to facilitate effective clinic operations\n
• Coordinate communications with patient and provider including symptom management\n
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience\n\nWhat You Will Need\n
• Licensure : Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.\n
• Education : Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred\n
• Certification : Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required. BMTCN / OCN certifications preferred\n
