Job descriptionAssociate’s Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (Bachelor’s preferred). 1–3 years of related experience in RF and electronics troubleshooting. Proficiency with electronic test equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.). Ability to read and interpret schematics for component-level troubleshooting (preferred). Familiarity with 2-way subscriber products (preferred). Strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills.

Type : Contract through 12 / 31 with possible extension or conversion
Location : Elgin, IL
Pay Rate : $25 / hr
Shift : 1st Shift (6 : 00 AM – 2 : 15 PM)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Analysis Technician to join our team on the 1st shift at our Elgin, IL facility. This role focuses on board-level analysis of failed mobile and portable 2-way subscriber radios. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analysis on rejected electronic assemblies using test equipment and simulators.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electronic issues; define corrective actions.
- Identify vendor vs. process defects and document findings in detailed failure analysis reports.
- Record and communicate failure data and diagnoses clearly.
- Work independently and adapt to changing conditions.
- Support factory operations on weekends as needed.
