Assistant Restaurant General Manager
At Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville, the Assistant Restaurant General Manager plays a key role in supporting the Restaurant Manager, Director of Operations, and Executive Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role ensures operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and staff development while helping the restaurant meet its financial and service objectives.
What You Will Do :
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate restaurant staff, ensuring compliance with company standards and operational goals.
- Monitor dining service, food and beverage quality, timing, and table readiness; engage with guests and address concerns promptly.
- Manage labor, scheduling, payroll, and staffing budgets in alignment with operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations, health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Oversee inventory, facilities, and equipment; recommend and implement operational improvements.
- Assist with financial management, including cost control, budget tracking, and reporting.
- Support menu planning, procurement, and restaurant marketing initiatives, including PR and special events.
- Implement preventive programs, training, and policies to maintain operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, maintenance) to ensure seamless restaurant operations.
Non-Essential Functions :
Assist in back-of-house organization and cleanliness.Perform additional duties within job capability to meet business needs and support guest service.Support special projects as requested by management.What You Bring :
College degree, preferably specializing in Hotel / Restaurant Management, or equivalent experience.Two to three years' previous experience in a managerial position in Food & Beverage.Working knowledge of division operations, Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and SOPs.Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.Ability to operate computer equipment and food & beverage systems; proficiency in reading, writing, and oral English.What We Offer :
