This role will be responsible for aligning operational strategies with overall business objectives to optimize manufacturing operations. This ideal candidate will bring a strong background in operations and safety, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively across operations, production and RD&E. This role is based in New Britain, PA with oversight of our Brooklyn, NY facilities.

Partner with department managers to establish and track performance goals for teams and individuals.

Lead the development and implementation of programs, policies and procedures to ensure facilities and grounds are safe, clean, and operationally effective.

Provide thoughtful, strategic leadership that fosters cross functional problem solving and supports company goals.

Develop and monitor operational KPI's to ensure efficient execution and that projects remain on track.

Collaborate with department heads on budget development and adherence.

Drive the development of the operations team, building a high performing culture with the right talent in key roles.

Maintain a people first culture where accountability, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork thrive

Lead future turnaround initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency, ensuring sustainable long-term performance.

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required in an engineering, operations, or manufacturing-adjacent, advanced degree, MBA or similar preferred.

15+ years experience in chemical or manufacturing plant operations, maintenance, renovation and related activities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in the maintenance of systems in an industrial environment and possess knowledge of advanced operating principles as they relate to the chemical, oil & gas environment.

Motivated to build, mentor, and develop a team and have 10+ years experience managing direct report(s).

Demonstrated experience developing operational standards, policies and practices which contribute to organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Demonstrated effective communication and relationship building skills at all levels in an organization.

Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations as it relates to plant operations within NJ / NY.

High flexibility with the ability to adapt and grow in a startup environment- patience and diplomacy skills are critical to success.
