As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.Monitor the chemical and petrochemical environment for any unusual activity and report findings according to site protocols.Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and / or contractors while following site access control procedures.Document observations, incidents, and / or occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations or drills by following established procedures.What We're Looking For :

Possession of a valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A Guard Card or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
