LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Connecticut!

About The Position

We are seeking a Hematologist / Oncologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Connecticut starting Jan 5, 2026. The role offers a Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm schedule, with weekend call every fourth weekend and one weeknight call per week. This opportunity focuses on adult and geriatric patients, with a preference for experience in breast cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

Manage all hematology and oncology cases, with an emphasis on breast cases preferred

Provide care to a patient panel consisting of approximately 85-90% adults and 10-15% geriatrics

Participate in scheduled call rotations as assigned

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation

Adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information

Active Connecticut medical license required

Board certification in Hematology required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
