POSITION SUMMARY
The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Admissions in maintaining 100% occupancy of Alina Lodge's licensed beds. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for documenting the potential guests' needed information and qualifying them for treatment according to the standards of Alina Lodge.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Ensures guests are admitted to our programs by maintaining proper admitting guidelines by conducting evaluations before official admissions.
- Complete an Admission assessment, utilizing ASAM criteria, to determine appropriateness for Alina Lodge programs for all admissions calls to convert to scheduled admission.
- Provide a sophisticated level of financial conversation to include vetting all appropriate resources for treatment investment, provide details of inclusions and exclusions of treatment investment, and utilization of all financial options.
- Accurately assess financial applications to provide management of compliance expectations and the financial assistance budget.
- Out-of-network insurance and in-network or contracted insurance
- Act as primary phone contact while scheduled to be “on call”
- Schedule and coordinate transportation for all patients for inpatient programs, including referring to detox partners.
- Facilitate actual on-site admission, logging of valuables and insurance and ID cards, signing of releases and paperwork, providing welcome kits, literature, etc., and initial meeting with nursing.
- Manage Guest tracking data reports, input, synthesize, and analyze information utilizing Excel spreadsheets.
- Case Management of all assigned cases from initial contact to admission while providing superior service and follow-up.
- Input information into EMR and CRM programs that are utilized at Alina Lodge.

- The Admissions Coordinator will maintain proper communication with the necessary parties t,o orchestrate transportation arrangements and all pre-intake needs.
- Communicate with Alumni guests for a possible readmit for a 1-month tim weathere frame (every week).
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in psychology or human services.Two years of consultative sales experience or customer service experience preferred.If in recovery, two years of continuous sobriety is preferred.Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelKnowledge of all computer software systems and the ability to use them proficiently.Customer service and detail-oriented.Demonstrate the ability to work with potential admissions and families independently.Always maintain confidentiality and professionalismStrong written and oral communication skillsPrioritize and multitask with excellent customer service.This facility operates 24 hours, 7 days a week, and requires either weekends, evenings, or both, depending on your job function. It requires some working holidays and, at times, inclement weather.PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
The physical demands and work environment require walking, bending, standing, climbing stairs, driving, and running with standard office equipment. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
