About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Counsel, also known as a Keeper o’ the Code, to join their remote-first, casual, and creative crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, including developing and executing legal strategy, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and managing legal crises. This role requires a seasoned professional with a JD from an accredited law school, bar membership in good standing, and at least 15 years of experience, with a significant portion in a corporate environment. The General Counsel will also be tasked with overseeing data privacy and security, leading a legal team, and fostering a culture of collaboration and positivity.

Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should have a strong background in corporate governance, crisis management, and data privacy and security.
