VICE PRESIDENT, ALASKA ENGINEERING - Food Manufacturing
Trident Seafoods is the largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company in North America. Trident is a privately held, 100 percent USA-owned company with primary seafood processing operations and fleet support in twelve Alaska communities. Trident’s global operations produce finished wild Alaska seafood products in 6 countries and its sales teams serve customers in over 50 countries. Species harvested and processed by Trident include virtually every commercial species of salmon, whitefish, and crab harvested in the North Pacific and Alaska. Summary : The Vice President of Engineering has oversight of the teams that provide operation and maintenance of facility, vessel, and factory structures and machinery as well as planning and executing projects of diverse size and complexity up to and including major infrastructure projects for Domestic Operations.

Team Management :
This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $230,000 to $280,000.

Work environment (includes travel / on-call) :
Ability to travel to various locations, including remote Alaska, up to 50%. When not travelling, this position is based onsite at the Trident Office in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, with the possibility of remote work on Fridays.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to wet and / or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
