Medical Biller
Our client, a well-established medical revenue cycle management company, is hiring a Medical Biller to assist their billing department! This is an indefinite contracted position that could turn into a permanent role in the future!

Position : Medical Biller
Pay Rate : $20 - $22 / hr depending on experience
Hours : Monday - Friday 8am -4 : 30pm
Day to Day :
- Answer incoming calls regarding billing concerns
- Research outstanding and incorrectly adjudicated claims and take action as needed
- Claim follow up
- Review EOBs
- Research denials to determine reason for denial or incorrect processing
- Prepare appeals
- Follow up on claim status’ (calls or reference websites)
- Submit documents for primary and / or secondary claims
- Process documents for payment
- Review and research unapplied credits
- Apply credits or submit refund requests to management for approval
- Notate accounts of any and all activity
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years+ experience in medical billing and collections
- Intergy or Greenway EMR experience (preferred)
