ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : In this supervisory role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Slot Service Technicians while coordinating with dispatch during their assigned shift with special attention to guest service, protection of company assets, and ensuring staff duties are performed.

A successful Slot Service Supervisor will be able to coordinate with management, dispatch, slot service technicians, drop team, security, vault, and various slot manufacturers to ensure calls for service are completed in an effective and timely manner.

Key duties include :

  • Support and in the absence of the Slot Service Manager oversee the smooth operation of the service department.
  • Effectively develop and mentor employees to ensure all departmental standards and goals are understood and met.
  • Ensure employees are in compliance with all departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Research and resolve guest and / or employee issue effectively and professionally.
  • Provide constructive feedback to upper management regarding necessary changes or improvements.
  • Provide instruction, training and implementation of service and other company programs to staff.
  • Monitor calls for service to ensure ATMs, slot machines and related equipment are in working order.
  • Delegate job duties and tasks to employees.
  • Monitor fleet vehicles and ensure management is aware of any required maintenance and / or service needs.
  • Supervise and maintain part inventories for slot machines, ATMs and other associated equipment.
  • Communicate all projects, new locations and any upcoming changes in the slot route to staff.
  • Coordinate with various slot manufacturers to provide service for participation and lease product.
  • Ensure integrity of all slot machine documentation. Investigate and report any irregularities to management.
  • Review checklists and PAR sheets for accuracy when compared to slot machine options.
  • Diagnose and repair ATM and slot machine components and associated equipment.
  • Remote in to various locations via computer to assist with systems issues or to assist in payouts.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : To excel in this supervisory role, candidates must meet the following requirements :

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Three years of experience in Slot Technician or a similar role.
  • Practical knowledge of slot machine repair, hardware, software, and other components.
  • Previous experience with Konami Synkros player tracking is preferred.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Ability to supervise individual staff and work teams effectively, fairly, consistently and in accordance with established human resource principles / polices / procedures / guidelines.
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must maintain professional and well-groomed appearance and demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : This role involves overseeing a team of Slot Service Technicians and does not have additional supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS : Candidates must possess strong English language skills, including the ability to read and interpret documents, communicate verbally, and write effectively.

REASONING ABILITY : The ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems in various situations is crucial for success in this role.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Candidates must qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands include standing, using hands, reaching, lifting, and other movements. Candidates should be able to lift and move weights ranging from 10 to 300 pounds with assistance when necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT : The work environment is moderate in noise level, and employees may be exposed to an environment containing unrestricted secondhand tobacco smoke.
