EHS Plant Specialist

Under the direction of the EHS Manager- Assist in developing, implementing and supporting programs at the Mosel facility to improve and maintain safety and environmental performance.

Specific Responsibilities :

• Assist with accident investigations.
• Administer and maintain OSHA required safety programs (i.e. hazard communication, lockout / tagout, confined space entry, personal protective equipment, machine guarding, etc.).
• Conduct environmental health and safety audits and follow-up with corrective actions.
• Develop and implement projects to improve safety performance (i.e. ergonomics, safety awareness, recognition program, etc.).
• Address employee environmental health and safety concerns / issues as necessary.
• Conduct environmental health and safety training.
• Support facility First Responder Squad.
• Attend monthly EHS Committee meetings.
• Support Divisional ISO compliance efforts.
• Assist with all aspects of environmental program management (i.e : stormwater / wastewater management, waste management, Title V management, remediation project management, etc.).
• Act as a liaison with all Federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
• Support the KOS Improvement System.
• Other duties as required,
