Responsibilities
Serve as the face of Nura, warmly welcoming every guest and ensuring a memorable, high-caliber experience.
Manage all front door operations, including reservations, waitlist flow, guest communication, pacing, and coordination with the floor and kitchen teams.
Maintain the dining room’s energy and rhythm throughout service, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal seating for guest experience and business needs.
Anticipate guest needs, resolve issues with professionalism and care, and elevate hospitality standards across the team.
Work closely with management to refine systems, improve service flow, and support training for hosts and floor staff.
Uphold and model Nura’s culture of warmth, professionalism, and teamwork.
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years experience as a Maître D’, Lead Host, or comparable front-of-house leadership role in a high-volume, high-standard restaurant.
Mastery of Resy, with a strong sense of pacing, capacity management, and table-turn strategy.
Exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence, and an ability to remain calm and clear in a fast-paced service environment.
A polished, professional demeanor with genuine hospitality at the core.
Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
