Sweetwater, the nation's #1 retailer of pro audio gear and musical equipment, is seeking a UX / Front End Developer to join our growing e-commerce team. Ideal candidates are passionate about user-centered problem-solving, take pride in craftsmanship, and are motivated to work on impactful web projects that influence millions of visitors. You will work directly on Sweetwater.com, focusing on creating outstanding user experiences informed by data.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse team of developers and designers to build a modern, customer-centric e-commerce platform.
  • Develop websites and solutions using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and contribute to Sweetwater's internal design system.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, participate in code reviews and stand-ups.
  • Design and deploy A / B tests, create interactive prototypes using Figma and other tools.
  • Analyze user flows to improve site usability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in front-end frameworks and full-stack development.
  • 3+ years UX experience.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, Sass, CSS3, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, MySQL, Laravel.
  • Strong attention to detail, data-driven UI / UX understanding.
  • Experience with accessibility standards and modern design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.js, Vue.js, React.js.
  • Experience with PHP development.
  • A / B testing platform experience is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, team-oriented mindset.
