Overview
This person will play a key role in supporting our client's growing team across multiple states & locations, accurately processing payroll, efficient onboarding / offboarding, and well-organized HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the payroll processing for multi-state employees
- Process off cycle payments for prior period adjustments, terminations, and supplemental file payments
- Provide employee support throughout the employee lifecycle, including payroll checks, timesheet issues, and onboarding inquiries
- Update and maintain employee benefit deductions, retirement changes, garnishments and other changes
- Audit payroll entries and timesheet entries for accuracy
- Manage new hire onboarding and offboarding by setting up employees in payroll system, ensuring completion of I-9 / E-Verify requirements, and accurately processing terminations
- Administer employee status changes in the POS system and HRIS, ensuring timely updates and accurate payroll reporting
