Job descriptionShifts Available : 11 : 00am-8 : 00pm 3 : 30pm-12 : 30am 9 : 30pm-6 : 30am Setting : ER Duties : Routine ER duties; codes; ER locums don't have a lot of trauma responsibilities Annual volume : 1st facility - IP ED Visits : 7,607 and OP ED Visits : 28, 521; 2nd facility - IP ED Visits : 75 and OP ED Visits : 23,956 Coverage : 1st facility single doc + APC; 2nd facility is 36h doc+ APC APPs schedule : 1st facility 11a-11p; 2nd facility : 11a-11p,(occasionally more) Supervise APPs : yes, sites charts are cosigned by Physicians Admits, 17-20% ED responsible for codes : at 1 facility Specialty Backup / Support : easy transfer center process Freestanding ED Hospitalist are on site, Hospital Medicine always admit Board Certified / Board Eligible Active NE license or IMLC - Highly Preferred ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS Clean Malpractice - Highly Preferred Minimum Education : M.D., D.O. Training : Completion of an ACGME / AOA approved Emergency Medicine residency program Experience : Actively practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician for the last 12 months or completion of an Emergency or Medicine Residency in the last 6 months Local candidates - Preferred EPIC with Dragon
