Position Summary

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Peoria campus of the University of Illinois College of Medicine seeks full-time and part-time General OB / GYN physicians to provide comprehensive health care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students. Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in obstetrics and gynecology, encompassing both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Actively participate in the teaching of residents and medical students in the context of clinical obstetrics and gynecology, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
• Engage in scholarly activities.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Academic offices are connected to a quaternary care hospital with a Level I Trauma Center, one of the most comprehensive neuroscience centers in the Midwest, and the largest children’s hospital in downstate Illinois. Faculty also have access to a world-class medical simulation center.

The budgeted salary range for the position is $350,000 to $400,000 per year.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
