Ace / Avant is seeking an experienced Lowboy Driver / Heavy Equipment Hauler.
The ideal candidate requires Relevant work experience and the ability to operate all types of Heavy Construction Equipment to load and unload equipment for transport safely.
Experience operating a detachable lowboy with stinger attachments and hauling equipment with a combined gross weight of up to 155,000 lbs.
widths up to 14 feet wide and heights up to 15 feet tall.
Essential Functions
work independently to successfully transport company equipment to and from various jobs; accurate and detailed record keeping and time management skills;
work safely and follow all company and customer safety regulations; work overtime as required. This position will require overtime and weekend work based on individual job
Requirements
- Must have a Class A CDL
- Pass an NCDOT physical exam and licensing requirements as mandated by law
- Proficient problem solver and conflict resolver
- Must pass pre-employment physical screening and must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of following directions and effectively working in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and independently
- Good, safe work habits
- Demonstrated team player and willingness to assist others when required
