Senior Research Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Research Engineer who is passionate about open-source and generative AI software development.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and test next-generation reinforcement learning and post-training algorithms

Contribute to open-source projects like NeMo-RL and Megatron Core

Address large-scale AI training and inference challenges across the model lifecycle

Required Qualifications

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Applied Math, or related fields, or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience in machine learning, systems, distributed computing, or large-scale model training

Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX

Proficient in Python programming and software design

Strong understanding of AI / Deep Learning fundamentals and practical applications
