About the role : We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of electric motor and battery module systems for advanced electrified powertrains. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, thermal management, and structural analysis, with a focus on electric propulsion systems.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Lead mechanical design and analysis of electric propulsion components including electric motors, battery modules and their associated sub-assemblies and components
- Develop, optimize and validate electric motor assemblies and energy storage system sub-assemblies for performance, safety, and reliability.
- Ownership of development packages, and delivery of these on time and on budget
- Collaborate with other departments through hardware design, validation, delivery and operation (Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Test)
- Conduct structural and thermal simulations using FEA and CFD tools to validate designs.
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical systems.
- Generate detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement activities

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range : $160k-$210k
