We have a school district in Pennsylvania is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
We offer competitive weekly pay with benefits and a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The ideal candidates will have a PA Special Education certification, but we are open to considering candidates with an emergency certification.
The positions range from elementary to high school, with specific subject requirements.
Open Positions :
- High School Special Education Math Teacher
- High School Special Education English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher
- 6th-8th Grade Special Education Math Teacher
- 5th Grade Special Education Co-teacher
- 2nd Grade Special Education Co-teacher
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
- Deliver specialized instruction in accordance with students' IEPs and collaborate with general education teachers.
- Work closely with other educators, paraprofessionals, and support staff to provide a comprehensive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to teaching methods and materials as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to ensure consistent support and share student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student assessments, progress reports, and IEP compliance.
Requirements :
- PA Special Education certification, or emergency certification.
- Experience working with students with special needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of educators.
