DoD SkillBridgeRestoration Estimator Apprentice

Impact Valuation Group is participating in the DoD SkillBridge Program. IVG has created a program to help military service members who are interested in entering the independent insurance adjusting / restoration estimating industry.

We have designed a training program that will equip service members with the necessary courses and trainee hours to become a restoration estimator specialist.

The adjusting / estimating industry is in significant need of dedicated individuals who are committed to quality and excellence.

This is a long term and rewarding career. Our independent insurance adjuster / restoration estimator apprentice program is a 180-day apprenticeship that provides the skills and knowledge necessary for service members to get a start towards becoming an experienced estimator / adjuster.

Becoming an estimator / adjuster requires education and real-world experience. In order to become an estimator / adjuster, you must complete multiple weeks of coursework, training, and certification.

The DoD covers the service members’ pay and benefits during this time. SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from IVG, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.

We work with our apprentices from the beginning until they become independently functioning estimators. Once your DoD SkillBridge apprenticeship is complete, you will become a full-time employee and continue to receive any additional training and experience needed.
