Project Manager III

We are looking for a project manager in TWCs Division of Information Innovation and Insight (I|3). The division supports the agencys mission by leveraging data to improve decision-making and service efficiency. The project manager will facilitate and coordinate project meetings, identify overall project scope, and work closely with Business Analysts to understand report requirements within each project. The project manager will create, maintain, and analyze Risks, Activities, Issues, and Decisions (RAID) through each project life cycle, as well as develop schedules, work plans, and resource requirements for I|3 projects. Our ideal candidate is a self-starting, motivated, and collaborative problem solver who understands the value of teamwork, critical thinking, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and data analysis to assist in management of TWC programs. Candidates must be enthusiastic about working collaboratively with teammates, TWC staff, and other state agency staff to deliver accurate information on deadline to a wide variety of stakeholders, including other State Agencies and Local Workforce Development Areas (LWDA).
The Project Manager III performs complex (journey-level) project management work. Work involves coordinating the planning and initiation of projects at various levels of completion; monitoring the progress and schedule of projects; and communicating with project stakeholders, management and other relevant parties. May assign duties and responsibilities and coordinate the work of project staff. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
