Fishbeck is seeking a talented and experienced Transportation Engineer to join our Indianapolis office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead roadway design projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients such as INDOT and local agencies.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, brings strong technical and communication skills, and is passionate about delivering high-quality transportation solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead plan production for roadway and freeway design projects using MicroStation / Geopak and / or AutoCAD / Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with clients including INDOT, local municipalities, consultants, and contractors.
• Assist in developing project budgets, schedules, and technical proposals.
• Apply engineering knowledge and software tools to deliver innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Fishbeck offices.
• Prepare quantities and construction cost estimates for bidding.

Minimum Physical Requirements

Must be able to work in an office setting and travel to project sites. Ability to maneuver around construction areas, attend meetings, and use technical equipment for documentation. Visual acuity and spatial awareness are essential.
