Position Description : We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer II to join our team. This position will support all phases of the construction process from preconstruction and estimating to active construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction across all phases and possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the construction industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the preconstruction and estimating teams to develop accurate project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Assist in conducting site visits and evaluating project requirements.
• Utilize construction software and tools to assist in the preparation of bids and estimates.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential issues and value engineering opportunities.
• Assist in obtaining subcontractor and vendor quotes and maintain a comprehensive cost database.
• Support project managers in coordinating project activities, including procurement, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Assist in preparing and submitting project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Participate in project meetings and provide timely updates on project status and progress.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for efficiency gains and process enhancements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on construction sites.

Due to federal contract requirements associated with work performed, candidates must be U.S. citizens and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Location Requirement :

This position is based in the Tri-Cities, Washington area. Candidates must reside locally or be available for immediate relocation at their own expense. Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary Range :

Salary : $78,868.94 minimum to $88,698.80 midpoint, $100,246.92 superior candidate

Typically, candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range based on applicable experience, qualifications, and alignment with preferred skills.
