Job Title : Customer / Guest Service Specialist - Full Time

Location : Springdale, AR

Reports to : Site Leader

Job Summary : The Customer / Guest Service Specialist will interact with the company's guests and customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints, generally providing a higher level of customer support on a specific product or service. In this instance, the role requires the Specialist to regularly interact with guests in a face-to-face setting and provide support and information on car wash services and products.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Ensure consistently great customer experience for all guests and the highest wash quality
  • Exceeding guest expectations through excellent communication skills and active listening
  • Investigate and handle all guest-related complaints, issues, and ensure top-notch guest service in all operations
  • Interact with customers in person, by phone, and email to answer questions and provide support and information on an assigned product, promotion, or service
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization.
  • Be an advocate and ambassador for our Unlimited Club
  • Learn and operate all aspects of POS and LPR systems
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
  • Maintain a high level of focus and attention for prolonged periods of time, with careful observation and call to action as required
  • Maintain a beautiful, clean, operational, and orderly carwash facility and property
  • Ensure a safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained business operation
  • Learn and uphold the WE OWN IT culture
  • Assist with local marketing and business development efforts
  • Setup, attend, and operate off-site events on occasion
  • Perform other operations, maintenance, and carwash site care duties, as requested

    • Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes :

  • Proven experience in a successful guest service role
  • Must be able to solve problems and multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and / or sales skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
  • Possess or have access to reliable transportation

    • Work Environment and Physical Demands

    This job operates in a retail car wash environment. Operating hours are Monday through Saturday from 7 : 00am - 8 : 00pm (9 : 00pm closing during summer months), and Sunday 9 : 00am - 6 : 00pm but may operate outside of standard hours due to maintenance and events. This role routinely operates in all areas of the car wash facility, including both indoor and outdoor work, with potential travel to assist other Heartland Tommy's Express locations.

    To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, all team members must be able to :

  • Work and commute in all weather conditions
  • Able to effectively communicate, listen, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information
  • Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers
  • Work in a fast-paced environment where they will often multitask
  • Regularly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as keyboard, copy machine and printer
  • Drive between company locations and / or vendors or suppliers as needed while on the job
  • Frequently stand and move about inside fast-paced car wash environment
  • Work with heavy technical equipment, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and operating up heights on ladder
  • Tolerate vibrating tools and louder than normal work environment at times
  • Frequently stand and walk for much of each shift
