The Medical Assistant will provide essential support to the Digestive Health Center, which hosts up to 90 providers specializing in gastroenterology, hepatology, and GI surgery. Each Medical Assistant may see up to 40 patients a day, emphasizing the need for efficiency and effective communication. This role operates from Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM.
Responsibilities
Room patients and check vital signs.
Communicate with providers and staff using the In Basket system.
Clean and prep patient rooms.
Update the EPIC system with health notes.
Schedule appointments and verify insurance.
Complete administrative tasks such as filing forms.

Pay and Benefits
