Govcon billing specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous GovCon Biller to join our client's finance team in the Washington, D.C. area. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all government contract invoicing and supporting the financial close process.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing complex contract billing cycles and is proficient with industry-standard accounting software. Qualifications :

• Must have Government funding & invoicing experience
• Comfortable with Government invoicing systems (GSA, Workflow, IPP, WAWF, etc.)
• Degree in Accounting preferred, but not required
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting / Billing
• Familiar with Deltek Costpoint and other similar systems
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge

salary : $35 - $41 per hour
