Salary : Up to $7,500 stipend (325 hours max) Will work with colleges for school credit
Job Type : Part / Full-Time, Remote / Onsite, up to 20 hours per week.

Position Descriptions : Park Planning - Landscape Architecture Intern
Seeking highly motivated individuals with experience / education in Landscape Architecture. The candidate will contribute to design work on park plans and initiatives.
Work will include site visits to various Alexandria parks to collect and verify data, development of park plans and graphics, and other projects as assigned.
Candidates will work independently and must take responsibility for their projects.
Candidates should be familiar with AutoCAD, Adobe Software Suite, and GIS. Ideal candidates will possess ability to create plans, visual layouts, exhibits, and edit / create data within AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite Programs and GIS.
Skills Required :
- Completion of coursework in AutoCAD and ArcGIS applications.
- Microsoft Office Suite : Word, Excel
Preferred Qualifications :
- 2-3 years experience with AutoCAD Software
- 2-3 years experience with Adobe Creative Suite Programs
- 2-3 years Experience with ESRI ArcMap / ArcGIS Pro
Education Requirements : Enrollment in a College Degree Program for Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Earth Sciences, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, or related field Travel Required : No
