As a Green Sage GM, youll guide both front- and back-of-house operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, strong team performance, and efficient, profitable caf management all without late nights. This is a dynamic role for a dynamic leader ready to take ownership of the cafs success.
Job Description
The General Manager is responsible for the overall management, performance, and profitability of a Green Sage Caf location. Your mission is to create an outstanding guest experience, maintain operational excellence, and uphold our companys commitment to quality, sustainability, and community.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
Lead by example and cultivate a positive, high-performing team culture.Be fully trained and proficient in all FOH and BOH roles and responsibilities.Ensure daily caf operations run smoothly from opening to close.Oversee efficient, accurate, and guest-pleasing service.Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness for each shift.Financial & Administrative
Monitor and achieve targets for labor, service speed, and profitability.Schedule staff and manage availability within labor budgets.Order and receive product within purchasing guidelines.Manage caf metrics, health scores, and facility standards.Utilize management tools and software to track performance and report results.Team Development
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new staff.Conduct regular employee performance reviews and coaching sessions.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and respect.Recognize and reward great performance.Address employee relations issues in accordance with company HR procedures.Facilities & Brand Integrity
Keep all equipment, facilities, and company assets clean and well maintained.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.Represent and uphold Green Sage Cafs mission, values, and brand culture.Requirements
Manager ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain promptly).Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.Proven leadership skills with the ability to foster teamwork and accountability.Proficiency in POS systems, daily cash handling, and sales reporting.Competency in Excel, Google Workspace, and restaurant management software.Ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours and lift up to 40 lbs.Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume caf or restaurant environment.Why Youll Love Working With Us
