Overview of First Care Medical Clinic

First Care Medical Clinic provides primary care services to patients in North Carolina and South Carolina. Operating for over thirty years, we have a longstanding commitment to patient-centered care. We have seven clinics, offer telehealth services, and are open Monday to Saturday to ensure accessibility and convenience for our patients. We also welcome walk-in appointments. Our services range from internal medicine and pediatric care to psychiatric counseling and on-site diagnostic evaluations. Our goal is to close gaps in healthcare by providing comprehensive, coordinated care.

Position highlights

First Care Medical Clinic is seeking a 2nd physician to join the clinical team that currently includes 1 physician and 9 Advanced Practice Providers (i.e., NPs, PAs).

  • 100% outpatient
  • 5 day work week, 40 hours per week
  • Office Hours : Monday Saturday 9 AM 6 PM

Desired qualities in a candidate

  • Strong interest in primary care, pediatrics, preventative care, and chronic care management
  • Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment used in primary care
  • Comfort with minor procedures (e.g., sutures, casts, splints) and reads on EKGs
  • Flexible, adaptable mindset

    • Education / experience qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply

    • Licensure / certification / registration qualifications

  • Current MD license in South Carolina
  • Current DEA license
  • Board certification or eligibility
