About The Position
Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

License : RRT
Certifications : BLS, RRT
Must-Have : ER and ICU experience in acute care setting
Description :
1 year of experience is required.
First-time travelers are welcome.
The role may require floating between units.
Weekends may be required on an as-needed basis.
Block schedules are not required.
Patient ratio expectations are variable.
Special equipment and treatments include O2 therapy, airway management, and respiratory treatments.
Candidates must possess skills in :
Adult Critical Care
Emergency Department
Extubation
Intubation Assist
Nasal airway placement
Nasal airway suctioning
Oral airway placement
Oral / nasal suctioning
Sputum specimen collection
Tracheostomy care / management
Handheld, T-piece, Trach collar, Bag and mask, ET Tube
High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
BiPAP
CPAP
Must commit to working 3 out of 5 holidays, including major holidays.
Flexibility is essential, and refusal to float may lead to termination of assignment.
A vehicle is required for this assignment.
Computerized documentation is necessary, with experience in any charting system.
References are required, covering a year of experience.
Travelers may expect to float between affiliated facilities.
Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may result in termination of contract.
