About the Company

Oakland area Property Management company is seeking an experienced senior-level property manager and lease administrator to take charge of a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. Company is privately owned and properties include a mix of retail spaces, office suites, and apartments.

About the Role

Applicants must have commercial property management and lease administration experience, as well as knowledge of basic building construction. This position reports to the property owner and is the primary contact with tenants, commercial leasing agents, and vendors. The property manager works closely with the company accounting staff and directly manages the maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• This is a hands-on position requiring the ability and desire to run property management operations independently on a daily basis, while maintaining strong communications with the owner.
• The successful candidate will have strong critical thinking and decision-making skills along with the experience to handle day-to-day property management and lease issues.
