ABOUT THIS JOB :

  • The Slate Roofing Laborer assists the crews and foreman each day on our slate, tile and metal jobs.  This is an entry level position that offers tons of room for long term growth!  We offer paid in house and on the job training to help you reach your goals!  If you are willing to learn, work hard and apply yourself, this is the job for you!

CORE REQUIREMENTS :

  • A valid driver's license that qualifies for coverage from our insurance (typically 4 points or less) is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and from ladders, man lifts, scaffoldings etc.
  • Must be able to transport materials and or equipment from the ground to the roof.  Must be able to work with and use different types of hand and power tools.
  • Must be willing to travel and work over time as needed.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug screen, we are a drug free workplace!

  • Competitive pay based on experience, starting pay $20 / hr.  Paid in house and on the job training.
