About the Job

Motor Supply's fleet consists of Volvo and Mack semi-trucks, operated by highly skilled drivers renowned for upholding key company values : SAFETY, EFFICIENCY, and PROFESSIONALISM.

Competitive Pay : 29% gross of load. Driver's average between $1,500 and $1,800 weekly

Modern Fleet : All trucks are 2020-2025.

Job Summary

  • Contract Driver (1099, Solo)
  • Dry Van and Refrigerated
  • Regional
  • $1,600 - $1,900 gross total weekly avg. pay
  • 29% of load
  • 3,000 - 3,500 avg. miles per week
  • Dedicated
  • No Driver Load / Unload
  • No slip seating

Home Time

  • 14 - 21 expected days out
  • You can stay out longer if you want to
  • Get 3 days of home time for every 14 days worked
  • Home at least one weekend per month

    • Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
  • Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
  • Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
  • Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

    • Hiring Requirements

  • Class A license without any of the following restrictions : (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer, (K) Intrastate Only or (V) Medical Variance
  • 2 years OTR experience
