Job Description :

Broadcom Inc has a job opening for a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) in the United States. The FAE will provide technical support for automotive customers for Ethernet connectivity across the US.

The FAE’s responsibilities will include :

  • Lead the design-in of Broadcom’s Switches and PHYs automotive customers in the Americas
  • Provide technical assistance through all phases of the design cycle
  • Works closely with Business Unit R&D and Product Engineers to resolve technical issues during and after design in activities
  • Help ID market trends and growth drivers that Broadcom should be targeting in the automotive Ethernet space

Qualifications :

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering (or higher) and 8+ years experience, preferably in Ethernet design.

The candidate must have good communication skills, be able to interface with customers and the product division.

The candidate must be able to develop and present technical and training materials. The job will require some travel within the US and Canada.

Compensation and Benefits

The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is $115,200 - $215,000.

OTE includes Sales Incentive Commission in accordance with relevant plan documents. This position is also eligible for equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
