About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer to drive Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure initiatives for our esteemed government clients. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for administering and optimizing Kubernetes clusters, managing cloud platforms with a focus on automation and ensuring compliance with DoD standards. Your expertise will be crucial in leading security assessments and implementing effective remediation strategies. Collaboration on incident response and troubleshooting infrastructure issues will also be significant aspects of this position. As our primary in-person representative for client engagements in Florida, you will leverage your extensive experience in secure, compliant Kubernetes environments and cloud deployments to foster strong client relationships. We are looking for a candidate who is both an architect and an engineer, capable of designing and guiding the development of advanced cloud and Kubernetes architectures.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 15 years in engineering, including at least 5 years in cloud and Kubernetes roles specifically within defense or government programs. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation, alongside scripting skills in Python and Bash, is essential. A strong technical background along with relevant certifications like CKA, AWS, or Azure are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills are vital, as this role involves being the senior point of contact for client communications and events in Florida.
