WHAT YOU’LL DO

Embark on a unique opportunity with TEAM in partnership with Bacardi Limited! You’ll be joining the Trade Advocacy team, who’s vision is to drive bartender recommendation through education, engagement and experiences.

Join a dynamic team and gain firsthand experience in planning, coordinating, and executing activations at the renowned Tales of the Cocktail festival.

Immerse yourself in the world of spirits, connect with influential Trade and professionals, and contribute to the success of a top-tier Portfolio event working with top bars from around the United States.

Location : Based in Miami, Florida / Broward County

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist Team Enterprise Advocacy Programming team in the planning, coordinating, and executing the Tales of the Cocktail activations
• Assist with managing venues, vendors, and suppliers
• Collaborate & support the Beverage Operations team to develop logistic and executional plans for event
• Support logistics management, including ambassador requirements, venue selection, F&B arrangements, audiovisual, and transportation
• Provide on-site event support during setup, execution, and teardown phases
• Assist in post-event evaluations and analysis to identify areas of improvement for future events

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)

• Currently enrolled in a degree program at Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
• Completion of Future Proof Bacardi and FIU’s online bartender training program
• Available and eligible to travel to New Orleans, LA for multiple days in July 2024
• Availability to work (M / T / W / Th / F)

Timeline of Internship :

• 5 Hours per Week April
• 10 Hours per Week May
• 20 Hours per Week June
• 30 Hours per Week July in weeks leading up to event
• 50 Hours for Week of Event
