About the job :

The Consulting / Principal Software Engineer Software Engineer is a key role providing expert-level technical leadership in large multifunctional development initiatives.

The role involves complex problem-solving, writing advanced code, and serving as a senior source of expertise in modern application design and development.

Responsibilities also include providing recommendations on project sizing and budgeting.

You’ll be responsible for :

  • Architecting , implementing, and optimizing CI / CD pipelines with Vercel and GCP, ensuring high efficiency and reliability of our deployment process.
  • Mastering of Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications, focusing on high availability, auto-scaling, and security.
  • Utilizing LaunchDarkly for advanced feature flagging strategies, supporting continuous deployment and testing.
  • Contributing to backend development, particularly within Node.js environments, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
  • Leading cloud infrastructure projects on GCP, optimizing for cost, performance, and security.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert in system architecture and DevOps best practices, consulting on and developing solutions for complex challenges.
  • Driving the adoption of new technologies and processes across the team, providing mentorship and training.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Posses an expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Vercel, and LaunchDarkly.
  • Experience in backend development, especially with Node.js.
  • Demonstrable experience with scripting and automation tools.
  • Have comprehensive understanding of networking, security, and database architecture.
  • Posses exceptional problem-solving abilities and a consultative approach to addressing challenges.
  • Posses excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
