We're currently looking for an experienced, sharp, and strategic Senior Estimator to join our Preconstruction team. This is a key role for someone who brings depth, leadership, and insight to the table-and who's excited to help shape the way we win work.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Estimator, you'll play a vital role during the design and pursuit phases of our most exciting and complex projects-often valued at $25M to $100M+ . You'll lead multiple estimates simultaneously, provide guidance to junior team members, and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners. You'll also help shape strategy, manage risk, and ensure every pursuit we engage in is set up for success.

You'll be responsible for :

• Leading estimating efforts across multiple pursuits at once-with minimal oversight
• Assembling and presenting conceptual and detailed estimates across different markets and project types
• Strategically developing proposals, including client-facing estimate presentations and value engineering options
• Mentoring and coaching Estimators and Junior Estimators across their technical and strategic growth
• Performing in-depth drawing / spec reviews, identifying scope gaps, and leading bid day strategy
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with trade partners and clients alike
• Supporting procurement planning, pre-bid schedules, and preconstruction strategy
• Being the go-to for unit costs, scope understanding, bid forms, and estimate reviews
• Providing feedback on market conditions, escalation, material lead times, and construction trends

You have a strong reputation in the industry and deep relationships with trade partners and clients. You're comfortable being both strategic and tactical, and you care about mentoring the next generation of estimators.

San Francisco Bay Area Pay Range $158,000 - $191,000 USD
