Job Summary
Assist the Controller and Assistant Controller in ensuring the accurate and effective operation of the accounting function. Responsible for various accounting and clerical functions, including special projects.
Responsibilities
Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
Processes expense reports and invoices.
Assists with preparation and input of Journal Entries.
Inputs and submits weekly and monthly packages.
Performs internal contract compliance / pricing audits.
Sets up new vendors and completes change of vendors in the system as needed.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Finance or Accounting Preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 2 years Accounting.
Professional Skills : Strong 10-key and data entry, intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, excellent written and verbal communication, basic math skills. Experience with the AS400 / Infinium systems a plus; strong verbal and written communication skills.
