About The Position
Job Title : Clienttion Therapist

Certifications : Current valid ARRT registration in good standing, Current valid BLS certification (must obtain within 60 days of hire)

- Associate's degree in Clienttion Therapy
- Associate's degree in Clienttion Technology
Description :
The Clienttion Therapist administers ionizing radiation to patients as prescribed.
Administers prescribed course of radiation therapy.
Calculates procedure details such as length and intensity of exposure to radiation, size and strength of dosage, and setting of recording equipment.
Evaluates and assesses the daily physiological and psychological responsiveness of the patients.
Ensures quality care for patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Participates in patient and community education regarding radiation therapy.
Assists in the billing and coding process for radiation therapy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ability to apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology, oncologic pathology, radiation biology, radiation oncology techniques, treatment planning procedures, and dosimetry.
Displays competence, compassion, and concern in meeting the special needs of the oncology patient.
Possesses excellent customer service skills, including a friendly personality, tact, patience, empathy, and a helpful professional attitude.
Communicates effectively with staff, managers, and the general public both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrates effective listening skills.
Exhibits excellent organization and time management skills.
Effectively establishes priorities.
