Medical Biller- Mandarin speaking
Description
Post and reconcile payments and superbills for the various offices as assigned by the manager.
Conduct insurance and benefit verification for the various offices as assigned by the manager.
Conduct pre-certification for the various offices as assigned by the manager.
Serve as a backup person to other areas in the billing team, check-out counters and / or the front desk reception area as assigned by the manager.
Assist the Billing Manager in the following areas as assigned :
review and process outside lab bills ( Genzyme, Westcliff, etc.).
post lab charges to patient accounts ( Genzyme, Westcliff, etc.).
update ARC records with financial information and post payments from ARC.
update embryo and sperm storage records periodically.
post embryo and sperm storage charges to patient accounts periodically.
Up-keep embryo and sperm storage records to periodical inventory report.
process refund requests as assigned by the manager.
Assist the Billing Manager in conducting any research projects, audits, and any other special projects.
Other duties as assigned which may include preparing various account receivable or departmental reports as assigned.
Attend all meeting as required by the manager.
Willing to be cross trained in other areas in the department as required.
Carry out filing duties as assigned by the manager periodically.
Requirements
High school graduate.
Medical insurance claims experience preferred
Experienced in OB / GYN and infertility preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred, data entry skills and typing of
wpm.
EOB, ICD-, CPT codes, and A / R knowledge.
