Rate : $22 / hr on W2

Shift Schedule : Monday-Thursday, 6 : 00AM-4 : 30PM. 40 hours / week.

Description :

• The EDC production technician (1PPGJP00010198) will be working in the EDC building supporting the electrocoat (rust proofing layer) coating process.
• Shift times would be Monday-Thursday, 6 : 00AM-4 : 30PM. 40 hours / week
• Previous automotive coating application experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow directions accurately
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to train and operate forklift
• Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a research and development setting. Ecoat production. Job duties include :
• Setting up and operating equipment to run and support Electrocoat coating process
• Reduces, loads and cleans out samples for lab equipment
• Coordinates process sequencing, parts and panel handling
• Collects and provides data - enters process and product data into tracking system and worksheets
• Supports operational excellence and production systems uptime
• Works with supervisors, engineers, EH&S, technical and product management to ensure equipment & products introduced are thoroughly vetted, validated and the process mapped from a facility, EH&S, and application perspective
• Follows and is knowledgeable of all EH&S guidelines and identifies areas for EH&S improvement
