Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments of merchandise.Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.Maintain effective freight flow in the receiving area while keeping the area and dock orderly and safe.Maintain the safety of the receiving area.Confirm the accuracy of all incoming merchandise and set up and design merchandise displays in accordance with company standards.Direct the work of other associates who assist with freight flow processes.Act as Manager on Duty and complete any additional responsibilities and / or duties as assigned, including opening and closing the store.Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months' retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business preferred.Ability to work evenings, 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.Positive attitude and ability to interact well with customers and associates.Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.New hire starting pay range : $17.00-$19.00. Pay ranges may differ in other locations. Associate will not be compensated below the minimum wage for the specific location where the individual has applied in accordance with city, county, and state requirements.
