The Georgia State University / Georgia Tech Center for Advanced Brain Imaging (CABI) is looking for a Research Scientist, Senior to join our team! CABI is focused on providing advanced brain imaging resources to the Atlanta area neuroscience community.

The Research Scientist, Senior will be responsible for the overall strategic planning, administrative leadership, and operational management of the center. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the center functions efficiently, complies with regulatory requirements, and supports cutting-edge research activities. The Research Scientist, Senior will also work closely with principal investigators, research staff, and center administrative staff, as well as institutional leadership to advance the center's scientific mission.

Qualifications

Minimum Hiring Requirements

PhD and three years of related experience, or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications :

Doctoral degree and 4 years of relevant experience.

2+ years experience with MRI protocol administration and adherence

2+ years experience with IRB compliance

Experience with / knowledge of GSU systems (COINS, Spectrum, IRBwise)

Knowledge and / or experience with environmental health and safety protocol compliance

Experience with financial budgeting and projections
