Manufacturing Technician

This position is responsible for the manufacturing of pharmaceutical assemblies in a GMP environment, involving various manufacturing tasks, preparation of solutions, and production materials.

Responsibilities

Perform daily manufacturing tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Perform setup, verification of, and teardown of equipment before and after processing.

Prepare solutions and production materials.

Perform manufacturing tasks, including fabrication, in-process testing, and packaging.

Document production activities in manufacturing lot history records.

Clean up production equipment and production area.

Perform analysis of data as needed.

Essential Skills

3+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing or large-scale medical equipment manufacturing experience.

Experience working in a fast-paced cGMP environment.

Ability to work in a controlled lab / manufacturing environment with chemicals.

Comfortable wearing heightened PPE, including a respirator or fume hood.

Detail-oriented and able to work independently with little supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Familiarity with chemistry concepts is highly recommended.

Experience with vialing powder and hands-on equipment dealing with liquids.

Performing test methods using a 400x microscope and using a particle size machine such as a Malvern Mastersizer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
