As a Senior Engineering Manager at Databricks, you will lead teams to build available, scalable and reliable software that is necessary to the business. You will be responsible for delivery of products and features shipped by your teams. You will work with engineers and customers to help ensure that we continue to build excellent products with new and improved features.

The impact you will have :

• Hire great engineers to build an outstanding team
• Support engineers in their career development by providing clear feedback and developing engineering leaders
• Ensure high technical standards by instituting processes (architecture reviews, testing) and culture (engineering excellence)
• Work with engineering and product leadership to build a long‑term roadmap
• Coordinate execution and collaborate across teams to unblock cross‑cutting projects

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non‑commissionable roles or on‑target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job‑related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. $217,000 — $288,400 USD
