We are seeking a Corporate Accountant to manage the daily accounting operation. This is an immediate Direct Hire opportunity.
Starting salary is in the $80-90K depending on experience. Monday-Friday. Please submit resume for immediate consideration.
The job functions include but are not limited to :
- Rating / Billing
- Revenue Distribution
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Cash Management
Responsibilities :
- Ensure all revenue is entered accurately and all invoices sent to the appropriate customer in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the weekly payroll processing.
- Ensure commission drivers and salespeople are paid accurately and timely.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results and communicate findings with your Armstrong office’s president and offer recommendations when appropriate.
- Monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts.
- Manage and oversee the Balance Sheet.
- All federal and state reporting requirements.
- Work with each Armstrong office to coordinate the payment of outstanding payable invoices.
- Manage UVL credit lines.
- Take appropriate steps necessary to ensure that all legitimate company receivables are collected.
- In addition, the controller is responsible for directly handling or managing the following :
- Weekly Posting of Van Line Statement
- Accounts payable
- Storage Invoicing & Accuracy
- Accounts Receivable
- Collections
Qualifications :
1. BS degree in Accounting or Finance
2. At least five (5) years’ experience in a mid to senior level finance or accounting position
3. Knowledge of NetSuite
4. Intermediate level Excel Skills
5. Outstanding communication skills and positive attitude
